Since that time the agency has grown into a multifaceted organization that handles both commercial and personal insurance needs for thousands of individuals and businesses. For the last 47 years, Friedman Associates has delivered value, service, and insurance solutions to companies large and small. Our list of specialties continues to expand, and it includes Property and Casualty Insurance, Employee Benefits, Life Insurance and Retirement Plans.

Howard brings 29 years’ experience to Friedman Associates with a background in property and casualty and an emphasis in construction, auto service and restaurant risks. Howard is a 1993 graduate from the University of Tennessee and a native of Virginia Beach.

Brad has been with Friedman Associates for 11 years and has 20 plus years of B2B sales experience. He has helped insure many types of businesses from contractors, restaurants, auto repair, manufacturers, health care, retail, and government contractors. Brad is a proud graduate of Old Dominion University and a native of Virginia Beach.

Chad brings 23 years of insurance experience to Friedman Associates. He also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the voluntary benefits world from Aflac. Chad is a graduate of East Carolina University and a native of Virginia Beach.
Thomas Dunn

Throughout his 35-year career Thomas has continually expanded his knowledge and experience to encompass a broad spectrum of disciplines including business and estate law, accounting, and insurance. He specializes in helping his clients avoid losses, reduce taxes, and guarantee retirement income. Thomas is active with the Society of Financial Service Professionals and serves as the 2nd Vice-President in the Tidewater Chapter. He is also a Certified Continuing Education Instructor, helping fellow agents attain professional accreditation.
John Woleben

John brings 43 years’ experience to Friedman Associates with a background in corporate and personal life insurance. John is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is past president of both local chapters and is the past Chairman of the Virginia Insurance Continuing Education Board. He is also a member of the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council.
